How to enhance this converter to a Rich Text Editor? I quickly googled and found couple of nice editors
1. YUI - Yahoo UI released under BSD license - and
2. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde … /index.htm - but no license specified - i guess its also free

Both are pretty much simple to use and I figured YUI is powerful, flexible and supports advanced features like image editing etc.,

I quickly tweaked both these but no luck -
With YUI both the events - toggleKBMode and convertThis are triggered but not able convert to Tel/Tamil -
Here is what I tried
1. Download the YUI api and copy the build folder to uedit folder
2. Modified Telugu.html (commented menus and headers)

The key codes are successfully passed and I believe there is something wrong in replacing the phonetic key combination in the browser. Gopi - any hints from your end ??

Hi,

I have never tried it on YUI. I tried it on RTE found at http://www.kevinroth.com/rte/demo.htm and the conversion worked with IE only. I could not find time to do the research to make it work on all the browsers.

I will try to make it work on YUI and let you know the code changes.

hai sir iam very happy to telugu applekey board, but this not support in all browesrs.. vathulu sariga ravadam ledhum, when will rectifiy this problem

Hi,

The Apple Layout is still under development and targeted for Version 3.1 which is going to be released soon.

This is just to give all the users a preview. Please post the details about the bugs so that I will rectify it as soon as possible.

Also, let me know what all not working and in which browsers.
