Hi to all
I m using Gopi's Unicode Converter for a Hindi Website.and it is running smoothly on IE and FireFox but it creates problem in Mozilla and others I want to solve this problem as soon as possible can any body helps me.U can view the webpage on www.iitd.ac.in/hv1.0

Hi,

I am not sure whether you are facing problems in typing the Hindi content or to make it display in Mozilla correctly.

You should not be facing any issues in typing using the converter as it works based on browser compatible JavaScript.

If you are facing issues in displaying your website contents, then add the following meta tag below the

tag in each of the web page in your website.

and remove all other http-equiv="Content-Type" tags in the web page

And while viewing the content in your browser:

Go to View | Character Encoding

* Make sure that Unicode (UTF-8) is selected
* If not, select that as the encoding
* Go to Tools | Options
* Click on the Content tab
* Under Fonts & Colors, click on Advanced...
* Fonts for... - select Hindi
* Let me know what fonts are listed under that
* For Serif, Sans-Serif and Monospace, make sure a Hindi Unicode font is selected (like Arial Unicode MS, Code200 etc. - one of those)

Please let me know if your issue is resolved.

Hi,

I think you are telling about ALIGN="JUSTIFY" tag attribute.

If you use it, Mozilla firefox will not render properly. Its the known issue with Mozilla firefox and not related to the converter. You can install along with MozTxtAlignFix in your browser to view the justify aligned text properly. Note that you need to install the extension and script in each Mozilla browser installation.

Hello
I am Nirvruti Patel. I am beginner in .net.I m using Gopi's Unicode Converter for a Hindi Website.

I am facing problem in typing the Hindi content and display online correctly.
It is working correctly on local host server but it is not working properly online.

I have used textbox instead of textarea.If it is required to change in javascript then please tell me what changes i have to do?

Also it shows me warning that charset is not a valid attribute of element textarea.

Please help me. Please Reply soon.

Hi,

The charset attribute is not recognized by some browser. so you can simply ignore it. You can find the detailed information on using the converter at https://higopi.com/ucedit/Reuse.html?hindi

For a textbox also the same code should work.Please let me know the browser name and version, also let me know if you get any javascript errors.

Dear Gopi,
I appreciate your fantastic works. I've one problem related to mozilla firefox. When I use kaamraj menu in textbox bottom parts of characters(hindi)(like maatras) becomes hidden. It works fine in all the other browsers(Opera, Chrome, safari ) except mozilla firefox. Please solve this problem.

Please try to increase/decrease the display font size and see if the issue is solved.

I've tried display but not worked.
I solve it by setting in css font-size:100% in input tag
